Mission 5: Your Own Story
We hope that you are ready for Mission 5! For this mission, you are going to create your own digital story based on a personal story from a member in your group.
For this mission please consider the following:
Think about the personal interview questions you learned about in Mission 3.
Think about a personal story of your own.
The story must be personal, it must have a conflict and it must have at least 2 characters.
Here is how Mission 5 works.
Each person in the group “tells” the group a story. After each story has been told, the other members of the group use interview questions to get as many details as possible about the story. Make sure to take notes about each story so you don't forget all of the details.
After you have heard all of stories from each group member, choose one of the stories to use to create your digital narrative story. Remember, you are going to tell this story in a digital narrative story using one of the digital storytelling tools that you explored earlier in the webquest.
To complete mission 5, create a collaborative mind map about your story. Below are links to some mind mapping software to complete the job. Choose one of the mind mapping software tools, create your mind map and post your mind map to the D2L page. Remember that some of the these mind mapping tools require you to sign up. Make sure to consult your teacher before continuing.

Now that you have completed your first assignment, your next objective to meet is to write a script about your story. You can use the online web 2.0 tools, draw it out on paper, or use the computer. Use your collaborative mind map as a guide. Make sure that the story is personal, that it contains a conflict and that it has at least 2 characters.
Once you have completed your story, you will need to embed your story to the D2L page for others to view.
